Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters are used when intravenous access is required for IV antibiotic therapy. Our office utilizes Memorial Hermann and St. Lukes hospitals in The Woodlands for this test. The procedure is ordered by the office as an outpatient procedure on an appointment basis.
