HCID Infusion Services

We offer our patients the convenience of being treated in our office suites or their own homes without being admitted to the hospital. With our own ambulatory infusion suites, our patients receive the treatment they deserve in the comfort of their own homes. Our physicians carefully plan a course of therapy for each individual patient and infection. The infusion nurse will teach the patient how to infuse their own medicine. Our office provides all of the supplies needed during the course of treatment. Patients receive their first dose of medicine in the office where our trained staff and physicians can monitor for possible reactions and to make sure the patients fully understand how to infuse their medicines. Our physicians and nurses are on call 24/7 to answer questions about infusions.

Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters

Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters are used when intravenous access is required for IV antibiotic therapy. Our office is staffed with trained personnel working under medical supervision to insert Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC) lines using proper equipment and sterile technique.
