Dr. Leonardo Palau Infectious Diseases Specialist

Dr. Leonardo A. Palau graduated from the Catholic University of Guayaquil in Ecuador on February 9, 1985. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Robert Packer Hospital/Guthrie Clinic in Sayre, Pennsylvania and then completed his fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Alton Oschner Medical Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Palau has been in practice in Houston since 1997 and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. His clinical interests include Skin and Soft tissue infectious, Staphylococcus Aureus bacteria particularly MRSA, and Travel Medicine.

Medical School:

Dr. Palau graduated from the Catholic University of Guayaquil, Ecuador. He did his Internal Medicine Residency at Guthrie Healthcare System/Robert Parker Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania, and Infectious Disease Fellowship at Alton Oschner Medical Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Palau has been in practice in Houston since 1997.
