Welcome to the Houston Center for Infectious Diseases

Houston Center for Infectious Diseases was founded in July 2000 by Dr. Leonardo Palau to provide comprehensive state of the art infectious disease treatment. We offer hospital and office consultation services, home and office antibiotic intravenous (IV) therapy. Additional services provided are: Wound Care, Travel Medicine, Adult Vaccines, Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD's), HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C.

We accept most insurance plans and workers compensation. All Patients are seen by our physicians within 24 hours of initial referral. Our office is open 7 days a week.

Whether you are on IV antibiotics or antibiotics by mouth, our healthcare professionals will provide you with the most effective antibiotics available.
